The Gurukul Montessori School is an exclusive English medium school based on CBSE Pattern, setting new standards in the education of the children in the 21st centaury. The school is the sister concern of Gurukul Education Group established in the pious city - Varanasi under the "BANARAS GURUKUL TRUST" with full of its effect from June 2001.

The school is based on Guru – Shishya Paramapara which has been an inevitable part of education in the ancient Indian Culture. This involved the tradition of a living and learning relationship between the Guru and the Student (Shishya), signifying the emotional, intellectual and spiritual bonding between them. This strong bond between the Guru and the Shishya enables the Guru to become a mentor who leads the shishya from ignorance to wisdom, and enlightenment.

The Gurukul provides a secure, stimulating and supportive environment to children where learning takes place and creative expression is encouraged. The main aims are, to strengthen self-confidence, to develop a happy and positive learning attitude, to form good habits of health and safety, to inspire creativity and individuality by learning through play, to develop natural curiosity by exploring and discovering through structured play.

We firmly believe that each student's needs are different and the teaching input therefore needs to be tailored to meet each individuals need.
